Media Information

1. General Information

(a) Access
Only mediarepresentatives with valid accreditation will be able to access the conference.Additional general access restrictions will be in place near the venue. Thereare no parking spaces for broadcasting vans inside the security perimeter.

(b) Press programme
Several photocalls and media opportunities will take place during the conference. Details will be listed in the press programme to be published at a later date.

(c) Media centre
A media centre will be set up at the conference grounds for accredited media representatives. The opening times of the media centre will be announced at a later date.

2. TV and photo material

(a) Host broadcaster
As host broadcaster, ARD and RTL/n-tv will produce a TV signal for all press briefings and photocalls and make it available on request free of charge. Furthermore, we will stream the video material live to the conference website. All livestreams and the video material produced by the Host Broadcaster are available to download here.

(b) Photo pool
Due to space limitations and security-related restrictions, access to the meeting venue is limited for press representatives. Only a small number of photographers can be admitted to individual photocalls. Therefore, a photo pool will be set up.

(c) TV teams
Due to space limitations, only a limited number of TV teams other than the host broadcaster will be admitted to the photocalls at the venue. Therefore, a TV pool will be set up.

3. Accreditation

(a) Registration
Registration is required for all media representatives. Standing accreditations from the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government are not valid for this event.

Registration is open from 2 May 2024 and must be completed by 27 May 2024 at the latest using the following link:

Please follow the instructions provided in the registration tool. It will not be possible to obtain accreditation after the deadline has passed!The letter confirming your registration is a preliminary document and does not grant access to the media centre.

Once the deadline for registration has passed, the Press Division of the Federal Foreign Office will inform you whether we are able to accommodate your accreditation request. Further information about the event will be provided along with the confirmation of accreditation.

We are asking for your understanding that accreditation can only be issued to a limited number of media representatives due to the restricted capacity in the media centre.

(b) Issuing of accreditation passes
We plan to start issuing passes for accredited media representatives a few days ahead of the conference near the conference venue. You will receive more information with your accreditation notice.
